Science: Course outline, Grading Rubric

Pre-test on 8-18/19. Not graded. Assess what students know.
Research paper first: 5 paragraphs with documentation. Will do it in class. Last week in November. 20 Points.
The Science Project starts the 1st week of December. Students will receive class time in January/February to work on their projects. Work at home will be required to complete.
All students are required to perform a science project alone or with a partner.
Both partners will receive the same grade on the completed project.
* If a partner does not perform their share of work on the project, then BOTH students will receive 0 points. 1/2 projects have no value. If working with a partner, choose wisely.
An automatic U for effort will be earned for any student not performing a science project.
