Welcome

Dear Students and Families,

It is a pleasure to welcome you and your sixth grader to middle school and to a new educational experience.  We are looking forward to working with all students this year and helping them to achieve their full potential.  6th grade students will achieve much this year in terms of academic growth, greater self-confidence, and improved social skills.

Good communication between parent, teacher, and student is very important for your child’s academic growth.  If you have any questions or concerns or if you would like to visit our classroom, or schedule a conference, you can contact us at (323) 568-4000 and/or email me at jvizcain@lausd.net.  Once again, welcome to South Gate Middle School STEM Magnet Program.  Let’s work together to make 2017-2018 the best school year yet!

Sincerely,

Ms. Vizcaino
